CSS in the Head Section

The <style> element allows web developers to put style sheet rules in the head section of the HTML document. This allows you to find the CSS code easily when compared to using inline CSS. CSS in the head section is the middle layer of the 3 layers of CSS. CSS in this section overrides CSS in external CSS files, but does not override inline CSS.
