What Are JavaScript Statements?

A JavaScript statement is usually a single step in a JavaScript program. A lot of times, a statement will be a single line of code. Each statement will end with a semicolon (;). The semicolon indicates that the step is over and that the JavaScript interpreter should move on to the next statement. A JavaScript program is made up of one or more statements. Here is an example of a JavaScript statement:
