A non-profit organization that can be admired by everyone is an organization called "charity: water". This organization helps bring clean water to developing nations. According to charity: water, what most people with a water faucet in their house take for granted, is not available to about 1 billion people.

About 1 billion or one in eight people in the world don't have access to clean water. Third world countries suffer the most because they do not have the infrastructure to pump clean water to them. Most of these countries get there water from wells or swamps nearby. Sometimes a long journey must be taken to get to these sources of water. charity: water brings simple solutions to these problems like freshwater wells, rainwater catchments and sand filters.
