Assignment Operator (=)

With JavaScript and many other programming languages the way to assign a variable a value is to use the equal sign (=). When the JavaScript interpreter comes across a single equal sign it knows to assign the value on the right to the variable on the left of the equal sign. Example: var name = 'Bob';
