What is a CSS Property?

A CSS property is a style attribute of an HTML element. Some examples include:

  • color
  • font-family
  • font-weight
  • height
  • width

These properties get assigned values in CSS rules. You will only have access to certain style attributes depending on the HTML element and the browser you're coding for.
