XMLHttpRequest Properties: timeout

The timeout property of the XMLHttpRequest JavaScript object holds the timeout value in milliseconds. If the HTTP request takes longer than this property's value to complete, then it will be aborted and a timeout event will be triggered. This property can only be set after calling the open() method and before calling send().
